I fotografi del gruppo The Framers danno forma alla noia. Andando oltre la più semplice e banale accezione dello stato d’animo, indagano la noia attraverso il pensiero di filosofi e letterati come Pascal, Schopenhauer, Leopardi, Bejamin. Partendo dai loro assunti hanno interpretato in maniera concettuale ciò che la noia produce sull’individuo e il suo sentire. Dalla dilatazione spazio temporale alla monotonia sino al rallentamento. Ne emerge un lavoro di grande levatura intellettuale ed estetica.

The photographers of the group The Framers give shape to boredom. Going beyond the simplest and most banal meaning of the state of mind, they investigate boredom through the ideas of philosophers and writers such as Pascal, Schopenhauer, Leopardi, Benjamin. Starting from these premises, they conceptually interpret how boredom affects the individual and their feelings. From space-time dilation to monotony to lethargy. The result is a work of great intellectual and aesthetic caliber.
